i have a 98 civic si automatic with 127 000km. i have had problems with this car all week that no one can figure out

1) while driving or coming to a stop car stalls
check engine light is on first reading map sensor, another day baro sensor
erase code problem goes away for a while

2) go to work in the morning no problem. car sits in the sun all day, get in at 3 to go home and
i get a punch in the face
check engine light is on but no code
cranks and i hear the click of the relays
wait until the sun goes down go back to the car and it starts

3) bring the car to the garage in the morning, they do all their tests
take it for a drive let it sit in the sun running for hours NOTHING
i go pick it up take a 5 min drive home park it, decide to start it again and
NOTHING AGAIN

this is starting to piss me off they said it can be the fuel pump a relay something in the distributor we wont know until we start replacing parts. can anyone help me i never had problems like this with any other honda

Should be a wiring issue. Either a bad ground or loose solder contacts in the main relay.

Park in the shade and air out your car before starting it during the day and see what happens.

Also I bet when u start it at night and the engine is completely cold after sitting a few hours, it starts right up. But when driving a bit and heat from the engine starts to warm everything up, when you turn it off and try to start her up she doesn't.

Let us know.

I've done a few searches, the top things that came up were ground, main relay and distributor.

igniter in distributor if crank but does not start in hot condition.. also, check bottom of your ecm if its rusted to shit!!!! baro sensor is built in ecm ... you could ask somebody to check your 5v reference voltage and sensor ground at different sensor at the same time. meet that problem alot of time at my dealer.. usually, igniter in distributor is defect.... please, if you replaced your distributor, dont go for a jobber one... save yourself extra problem and buy one from the dealer... its more expensive but it totally worth it...
