Can't decide between these 2. Any inputs ? Castro please come here, tell me why did you take the HTC over the S4

Service provider is Rogers

I just got my S4 today... So far, so good. Only "glitch" is that my Instagram does not work. I take a pic, I apply a filter and when I post it.. it goes dark gray with horizontal lines :dunno:

I would assume that the HTC One is built better... Main difference is that HTC One is running on 4.1.2 and the S4 on 4.2. NO idea what difference that makes.

Tiens , déjà un gros review s4 VS one

http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_s4_vs_htc_one-review-913.php

Samsung Galaxy S4 over HTC One
•Bigger screen; works with gloves and air gestures
•Higher resolution camera - 13MP vs. 4MP
•Newer Android version - 4.2.2 vs. 4.1.2
•Multi-window multitasking
•Higher clock speed chipset
•Expandable storage
•User-replaceable battery of higher capacity
•Additional sensors (barometer, thermometer, hygroscope)
•Exclusive software features
•Smaller, thinner, lighter

HTC One over Samsung Galaxy S4
•Brilliant-looking aluminum unibody
•Optical Image Stabilization, image sensor with 2µm pixel size
•HTC Zoe, BlinkFeed
•Front mounted stereo speakers, Beats Audio
•FM Radio

Had the HTC One since launch and it's truly an amazing piece of hardware.

In my opinion, Sense 5 feels so much faster than Touchwiz.

You can't go wrong with either device. If you need expandable storage and removable battery, get the S4. If you want a clean, fast Android experience packaged in a great looking phone, get the One.

Just check Youtube, there's no shortage of comparison videos.

I'm in the same boat with the Sony Ericsson Xperia XL tossed in there too. So far I'm leaning towards the HTC for build quality. Software-wise I'd give it to Samsung but coming from an iPhone, I don't think I can handle cheap creaky plastic.

I just had a one x the older version the only thing i didn't like was the expandable storage. My phone is like a music player the more the better.

got my s4 on Wednesday and love it but suggest you check out this vid for a comparison of both phones

Touchwiz makes the phone so slow, I feel my Nexus 4 is way smoother than the S4 even if the Samsung has 4x1.9 ghz vs 4x1.5 ghz with the N4. Removable battery and expandable memory are useless for me. I think I'll go with the One.

Thanks for the input guys

And what about the 4 MP camera ? I was like DAFUQ when I saw this

look on gsmarena, they said s4 camera seem better quality, but on pics comparison you can't tell much difference. different sensors , different technology, 4mp seem faster.

If the hardware and screen size/camera is what interests you more, get the S4.

If quality finish interests you more, get the HTC One, you'll still have very good specs, but a not-so-good camera.

^^ Yes it is, but from what I read they say if I want to get a true Android phone then I should get the S4 or the Nexus 4. HTC is all about built quality and that's about it.

Front speakers it's what attracts me the most, FINALLY I can listen to something quite clearly now. And about the OS, 4.1 comon HTC... they'll be late for every update like they were previously with all of their phones.

I'll read abit more about it. I REALLY don't like the Samsung fluidity, it is shit really. I'm more concerning now about getting the One or keeping my N4 for the moment.

Already giving up the N4? I've been considering selling the N4 and getting a One just because of the design that tickles my elmo in all sorts of ways.
