Yeah I posted a rant there last week at 4 in the morning and it was deleted in seconds too (nothing offensive, just didn't promote the pq movement). That women better not be using my tax dollars to pay someone to be watching the gov fb page 24/7 , but it wouldn't surprise me.

Is there anyone who knows of a lawyer who works pro bono, who may be able to help me get Tranports Quebec to compensate the loss of my car?
They have given me forms to fill out for claims, which they will surely just toss in the garbage and ignore anyway. I need legal advice on how to proceed.

I learned years ago in my driving classes that you don't slow down on the highway before an exit. The hole was just at the exit so he could not have been driving at 50km an hour at that point. Go there and you will see that the 50km max speed limit sign is way further.

Thanks for the advice. I called him, and he recommended me to someone else, as he doesn't cover this sort of case. I called the person who he recommended who seemed very knowledgeable, but I wasn't expecting the type of costs associated to a lawyer
It will cost me minimum $1000 and that doesn't even guarantee me compensation from transports Quebec

The lawyers that I spoke to all said I should have a strong case especially since the Transport Quebec spokesperson admitted on TV that they had a "miscommunication" that caused this to never be fixed. I send in my claim to Transport Quebec via registered mail 3 weeks ago, so I can confirm they got it but no one has called me yet. I will have to call and follow up as I'm sure they will do everything to avoid doing anything for me at all.
