High School student calls out teacher for piss poor teaching

Honestly, i was expecting some drama kid to be actually causing/initiating the problem, but judging from the way he somewhat kept his cool while talking and the tone of the teacher, I think he handled it pretty well - props to this kid!

Loved his intervention, and he is right.

kid is 100% right.

While parents don't necessarily help the situation by always defending their kids, teachers do need to create passion for the kids to WANT to learn.

"In a more appropriate way?"

What is a more appropriate way? The guy is frustrated and 100% legit, but did not utter a single fuck, shit, bitch or any other foul word in his rant. He is lively, articulated, his body language was firm, clear and to some extent quite restrained. He fuckin' stood his ground and delivered like a damn champion if you ask me. I would've never kept my cool like this if I was going to call a teacher out for not actually teaching any fucking thing.

People do not move their asses when they are interacted with in "appropriate ways".

If you want to whip some sense into someone else's mind, you don't go all soft on them.

"Appropriate ways" end up on sheets of paper that are forever forgotten in drawers, while assertiveness and charisma end up viral on the internet and gets people to think and question.

I back this guy up 100%.

I'm gonna side with the kid on this one, mos def.

I can tell he's right by the way the teacher just dismisses him. ''Mhm'', ''get out'', ''you're wasting my time'' - if she actually was right in that situation (and loved the job), she would have somehow responded to the kid, you know, set him straight? But no, she just sits there like a fat slob, mumbling stuff, probably because she knows she's in the wrong. Probably the kind of teacher that hands reading packets to students and thinks it is teaching.

Props for the kid for showing composure and being articulate during the entire video. He made his point.

Exactly.

"You're wasting my time"

Wasting time that you are using sitting on your ass moving paper around instead of pwning your class and making it interesting.
