Dashboard Camera - Need advice

the 32G memory card I got just gave out a week ago, guess I did too many recordings and writing over. even after format it reports damaged card and if it doesn't at first then your recording isn't visible because the card gives an error when trying to play it. lasted a couple of months, maybe just buy smaller ones on special next
 
Wow la DR32! Ca reste cher à cause de l'écran... j'aimerais ca une petite 808 #16 qui auto start avec l'auto...

Haha yes! I didn't really care about GPS or speedometer functions as... well all cars have a speedometer and most of us have a GPS or smartphones with gps functions.
Most cameras are pretty decent in day light but for me what really differentiated this from the others was the night views.

Que faites-vous lorsque vous vous parkez le soir avec la camera dans le windshield ? Est-ce que vous la ranger ? Pas peur de
se faire défoncer "juste" pour une dashcam ?

Et conaissez vous un vendeur legit pour une DVR-007 / DVR-027 sur Ebay ?

The GPS speed recording is not for you to know where you're going and at what speed. It's for recording your speed in case you want to go to court fighting a false speeding ticket.

Since there's a time stamp and the distance is recorded on video, you can calculate the speed you were travelling at that moment. Then again I personally don't really speed that much anyway
 
^^ je me fierais pas sur la vitesse du GPS pour contester un ticket de vitesse... Ils ont besion tellement d'argent que si ca indique 101 km/h pis que tu conteste un 130 km/h, c'est assez pour que le juge ne soit pas de ton bord.
Comme preuve je me baserais plutot sur le movement de la voiture VS distance parcourue VS les objets fixes pour estimer une vitesse.

Et la petite caméra DR32 semble quelque chose de super potable.

Celle que j'ai posté avant, elle est double, c'Est pratique pour filmer ceux qui collent. ou un accident derrriere. Pcq oui, ya des ti clin en civic qui me collent souvent, ils voient que mon char est pas stock et veulent s'essayer.

No, not yet the shipping email said it could take from 7 to 28 days (coming from China) but when I tracked it, it said it was already in Canada so I should get it this week.
I'll try to report back and take some shots and upload them for you guys
 
Yeah that's the plan since most cams are pretty decent during daytime but that will make the difference is the night time filming :)

When you go to the site, click on that little button that says 'close to play' on the video screen if not there will be a pop up and it will try to download zoom player (gayness!)
Alright fresh out of the oven, filmed tonight and I apologize for the quality of my dirty windshield (it was slightly fogging up too because of the humidity) but over all I'm very impressed by the quality. It records in files of 1 minute each (or 5 minutes) and it starts as soon as the it receives power. The audio is pretty good too.
The website compressed it so the quality suffers but the original file is stellar.

For some reason the quality at night is not as good as I was expecting and yes I'm set to 1080.
In the promotional videos seems much better quality, hence the reason I bought it! I'll try to play with some settings...but there is not much.
