Man that sucks, the owner is actually a member on Vortex, another forum!
Really down to earth cool guy who loves to share stuff about his cars and answers pretty much all the stupid questions from everybody!
He was modding the car a bit, changed the wheels, exhaust, LM brakes and a bunch of other F40 LM parts

Very very sad,
fortunetaly, these cars are worth so much money, that even if the tub is cracked it probably won't be deemed a total loss. The body is also made of carbon-kevlar-aluminium, when they are involved in accidents it always appears worse since the body panels shatters, as opposed to a steel paneled car. I'm pretty confident this car will be on the road again someday.
It really sucks though, I got so pissed when I had a minor dent from a hit and run, I can't imagine how that guy feels about his F40

But the fact that its VGA will deter most serious buyers. IMO if you are looking to buy an F40 you can afford a non VGA anyways

The thing is it probably won't be VGA. The title will remain clean, with the work thoroughly documented.
