need recommendations to rent a beach house with friends

Me and my friends are planning a road trip for this summer, basically we are looking for a place to rent some kind of beach house, chill for a week, party a bit and relax, we would need something for like 8 persons

So far we are thinking of Wasaga Beach in Ontario, Myrtle Beach in South Carolina, somewhere in the Jersey Shore (not too sure about that idea lol), also the Maine and New Hampshire are options...

So what are your experiences, what do you reccommend?
 
New Hampshire and Maine are the closest ones followed by Wasaga however, we found prices to be very high in Old Orchard for example (and it's the same story on the Jersey Shore). Not sure about Wasaga but judging by how much parking and motels cost in high season, I don't think it's cheap either.

Myrtle beach is awesome BUT I did not see actual houses on the beach (except for a select few multi million dollar homes). It's also much further away. However, it would be probably cheaper to actually rent rooms in a Myrtle Beach tower hotel on the beach then renting a big house in Old Orchard.

If you got the time for the roadtrip and don't mind staying in separate hotel rooms OR rent a house a few minutes from the beach, I'd definitely choose Myrtle Beach out of your choices.
 
J'ai des amis qui loue une maison de plage à cape hatteras à chaque été et ils ont l'air de bien aimer ça.

Yeah for Myrtle beach, my friend usually rents a condo for 8 persons when he goes there, he told me he pays 1200$ and its less than 5minutes walking distance from the beach!
Not as cool as a beach house but a condo would do aswell

Ouais ya une autre personne qui ma parlé de cet endroit! Ya pas l'air davoir gros nightlife mais ça a l'air beau comme place!
 
Apres avoir passé 16ans sans avoir mis les pieds a virginia beach,j'ai été passé 1 semaine l'été passer avec ma douce et j'ai eu du fun en maudit ! Ont retourne la bas avec un autre couple d'ami cette ete,j'ai aussi été a hampton beahc l'été passé et c'est pas loin et entre amis une bonne petite place pour avoir du fun.

Myrtle beach bien du fun entre chum mais je trouve la beach buff,beaucoup de petite roche et vulgaire sable,rendu la va a daytona et les environs.
