In date of 4pm and based on the MS stock value, Bill is back on top...It is great to follow the Bloomberg Billionaire Index...

Bill Gates became the world’s richest person today, the first time he has held the title since 2007. His fortune was valued at $72.7 billion at 4 p.m. in New York, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

Gates, 57, was more than $550 million ahead of Carlos Slim, who has a $72.1 billion net worth. The co-founder of Redmond, Washington-based Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) has seen his fortune climb about $10 billion this year. The software maker’s shares hit a five-year high today, and have advanced 28 percent year-to-date.

Slim’s fortune has dropped more than $2 billion this year as Mexico’s Congress passed a bill to quash the market dominance of the 73-year-old billionaire’s America Movil SAB.

J'ai deja vue a quelques part que c'est la reine d'Angleterre qui est la plus riche du monde,et qu'elle est propriétaire du plus grand territoire sur la planète elle est souveraine et monarque de tous les pays du Commonwealth et propriétaire de chaque Banque centrale des pays associé ainsi que commandante en chef de chaque armé donc décide des guerres.

Sa richesse et ses avoirs son incalculable tellement c'est énorme,dison qu'elle n'a pas besoin de carte de débit ou crédit car tous ce qu'elle achete et payé et remboursé par le gouvernement britannique
 
Pas certain de ça. J'ai lu à quelques endroits que la fille qui a écrit les Harry Potter est plus riche que la reine d'angleterre. J'ai aussi lu un article qui mentionnait que la reine avait demandée une subvention du gouvernement pour couvrir les frais de chauffage du palais royal...

Ya, he's a good guy, he actually took on a smaller role at microsoft so he could focus more on his foundation "bill and melinda gates" or something.

He donates alot..
 
Moi ce que je catch pas c'est qu'il a dis souvent depuis sa retraite que ses enfants aurais pas grand chose (rumeur à +/- 10 millions chaque).

Cela exclus tout ce qui est frais d'étude et santé

Si il est pour tout donner à sa mort au pauvre et la recherche pourquoi attendre 50 ans que le monde continue de souffrir et les maladie de sévir ? Garde toi 1 milliard et donne le reste right now si tu est un si bon homme que ça.....

C'est comme Bono qui avais tombé dans la face du gouvernement Canadien qu'on donnais pas assez au pays pauvre sacrament, j'ai connue un plombier en Europe qui avais travaillé dans sa villa en Espagne et tout les batard d'utilité dans les salle de bain (robinet, etc...) sont tous en or.

You can't compare Bono to Bill Gates, Bono is known to evade taxes and then turn around to criticize others for not donating. Bill Gates donates much of his wealth to many causes.

Why donate his money now when he can use that money for investments?

Why does he need to invest if he want to give it or help ?

My question is why help tomorrow when you can today. Why wait that you die and also thousand if not millions die before you when you could help and save them today ?

If you've worked in the IT/software industry you know Microsoft is a bully and people usually hate Bill Gates (or as my ex coworker would call him 'Guillaume Portails') however he clearly does more than most people on this planet along with Warren Buffett, these people are in class of their own. So many rich people spend money on the latest fashion, cars, houses while giving back little while these guys are actually changing the world (if I'm not mistaken Gates pledged to eradicate Polio)
