Gatineau police officer shot! but it turns out she accidentally shot herself

En passant si tu parles des pompiers au pluriel en anglais tu dois ecrire FireMEN...It shows how educated you are..

The montreal police have to shoot a minimum of 200 rounds a year. Most ofo them shoot this in 1 day at the range with a couple friends. They also do this static like the majority of people at the range. There is no Dynamic training after they pass there initial qualification before becoming a police officer(I think. I could be wrong, Im basing this off the word of the people that train dynamic shooting here in montreal. I take these courses often).

Anyway, the point is I go to a trining course, or a competition and shoot easily 200-300 rounds in an hour or two. I did a course a few weeks ago and fired over 1000 rounds over 2 days. Tere is allot of practice and training that goes into dynamic gun play. and most police do not have it.

Do you have any idea of the qualifications cops need to do in order to carry a gun? Its ridiculous!
And theyre not even obligated to go practice regularly!

Im pretty sure the average sports shooter who goes and shoots regularly is better than 80% of the cops carrying a gun!

I have a friend female cop and she told me she shoots like 2 or 3 times a year just to qualify herself and that she doesn't like it at all!
She never wanted to go with me because shes ashamed im going to be better than her and I consider myself a bad shooter (with a handgun, im actually pretty good with long guns)

This is the type of cop that will eventually kill someone for no good reason, and will do a false declaration about it.

Not to mention that 200 bullets a year is nothing, some people shoot off 600 just to warm up, then an additional 400 for stationary target practice.

I would relieve her of field work, set her up as a desk clerk at the station. Shooting yourself in the foot is not what matters here. Its the fact that she pulled out her gun for a noise complaint, and then covered up what happened.

the problem with cops is that its a hard job , every1 knows that . a good percentage of cops dont have what it takes to be cops but they join the force anyways and then change everything around them in order to fit in . its kinda hard to explain .

ur mentally weak , or emotionally unstable or just physically at a disadvange and you still join the force, there is a problem . also u know you could get killed in the line of duty b4 u take the job , so if u decide to take it anyways ur not supposed to be any more special than ANY other citizen but cops gets treated above and beyond ordinary citizens .

fire man almost never get the recognition cops get yet they run into burning buildings where as cops hide behind their guns , who more heroic ?

I'm pretty certain she didn't pull a gun cuz of the noise complaint. Law enforcements have strict rules on drawing their duty pistol so if the gun was drawn for some reason, she must have seen a weapon or weapon of opportunity. The difference is though a well trained and built male cop would/could handle the situation differently as opposed to a 5'2 100lb female cop (it's called officer presence)

c'est exactement se que je pense mais j'étais trop mal éduqué pour pouvoir l'expliquer alors merci

probably not , the thing is though , maybe she's a small cop and maybe this situation otherwise non threatening got her scared so she resorted to drawing her gun . im not saying this is the case ,bcause i dont know the circumstances but here is a good chance that it is infact the case and if so , she has no business being a cop
