Airplane Thread

There are a couple companies working on cargo conversions for RJs. 50-70 seat RJ are worthless these days. One company already has 10-15 orders ....

RJs are becoming the new metroliners! theres a few companies also converting to biz jets, home-made globals!

edit: SRT just beat me to it

There was talk of DC-3s being in service up north for another 30-40 years... Provided av gas is still around.

IMO you' could start to see cargo RJs and mad dogs start to take over that roll.

I can confirm that the Q400 package is great!

TheDamned PM me if you want, I fly mostly figher (FSX VRS Tacpack which is absolutely the best) but a few civilian like the duke turbine etc.

I believe it, dc3 are tanks that can stop on a dime, RJs wont start in extreme cold, nor can they ever land 3000ft gravel runway

Don't forget about the Basler PT6A DC-3 conversion and you don't have to worry about avgas... You basically get a new DC-3 once it's finished

Would be cooler with 2 PW150s strapped on for when you need that super short field performance

Got a flight from ATL to AGS in a Delta DC9-50 at that same exact seat :

Damn that was loud but a nice experience :)

During the Masters even the small local airports get busy has hell

AGS terminal is so cute, Everything is golf related!

An EJet video would be great

"The yoke keeps hitting my knees, the flight deck is made for manlets, my can of coke has a thicker skin, the flaps never work"

Not sure if u guys followed the BA incident that happened last week May 24th.

An A319 took off from Heathrow with both engine's door not locked.
So both engine shut down during flight with smokes and all, they landed safely but what a job by the pilot.

Some pics (from avherald) :

Someone didnt do theyre pre-flight walkaround or was rushed

Went up in a CJ4 a few days ago that we're looking at buying. Very nice aircraft; so smooth and surprisingly powerful. A bit small on the inside though...
