TA #2 is June 9th which is the Sunday of the Grand Prix...which I'm supposed to be at. This sucks.
Had the same dilemma when I saw the dates. In the end I'd rather be on the track than watch others be on the track!

hihi it's juste a timed lap, you and many others are better driver then me. take my car, you can pass me :bow:I think to keep the world balanced we should just ban hondastreet...![]()
So what IS a street car? There are plenty of different views.
A car with an upgraded turbo or a forced induction kit is not a street car? But one rocking a normally aspirated 10,000rpm race gas grenade is?
So someone can add 100hp to his already 300hp turbo car but someone adding a 100hp aftermarket kit to his 150-200hp car gets bumped into Mod?
Is a car with pimpy 3-way remote reservoir shocks, 1200lbs+ springs and 1.5" thick swaybars really a street car?
This is the kind of discussions and a 576 page rule book we will end up with and the slippery slope i was referring to...
So anyways, what about the other classes?
"Mod class is for ________" ???
"Race class is for _________" ???
If you want to move away from classing cars based on tires/wheels driven then define a clear vision for each class and then decide on a simple set of rules to direct the builders/drivers into appropriate class.
cheers

avec la nouvelle asphalte ase est plus smooth ue icar ...Well, 1200lbs springs won't help you at all at ASE! I heard it's difficult to keep the car going straight with all the bumps so 1200lbs springs would just slow you down a lot.
For me, all cars modified a little or a lot are no more production cars. But can be all classed in ''street car'' if they are still legal on the roads.
x2avec la nouvelle asphalte ase est plus smooth que icar ...
1. Copy/paste pages 10-23 of Redline TA rules into our rules. https://www.redlinetimeattack.com/images/rules/RLTA_Rules_V3.pdf
2. For Street/Mod/Race classes combine RWD+AWD, keep FWD separate.
3. For new Enthusiast class keep AWD/RWD/FWD separate
This will increase competition without diluting into too many classes (we stay at 9 classes total) and allow an easier entry for beginners.

Le lien semble pas fonctionner. Quand je clique sur le fichier TA #1 ça me donne juste une image de la catégorie AWD-Street.
Click en bas à droite sur 'OPEN'
