Its people like you that I still can't understand, are you in THAT much of a hurry that actually having to slow down for a speed bump and waiting 15-30 seconds for a car to go over it really enrages you?

and if I stay in my lane and avoid left and right potholes or crevices how could that possibly bother you? Get into the next lane and pass them if its that much of a problem for you.

Seriously what happened to patience people like you make me laugh as you rage pointlessly behind me while I stop for a speed bump

Cool. From now I'm waiting 30 seconds at every stop sign; my car doesn't like stopping for less time than that. You have no problem waiting behind me, right?

Seriously, if you're setting up your car in such a way that it can't be driven through everyday traffic situations without impeding the flow of traffic, you're doing something wrong, and the police are right to try to discourage it. Is the 25 mm rule perfect? No, but it seems logical enough in order to keep stupid people from, well, being stupid. And I'm pretty sure that my lightly lowered Miata (which doesn't need to crawl over speed bumps to avoid scraping) complies with the rule, so they haven't exactly banished us to driving SUVs here.

So now you're the authority on taking speed bumps then?

I'm sure I have more than the 25mm clearance and I still take some speedbumps pretty slowly, I rather not fuck up my car and spend 6 more seconds goin over the speedbump then plow right through it. And anyways, as was previously stated, speedbumps are there for people to slow down anyways, and are placed with that in mind, so you shouldn't be worried about that extra 30 seconds in the first place, use the highway if you're in a rush

speedbumps are made to slow down (almost stop) anyway.

only the super low and long ones are made just to slow down a little.

if a fucker rides my trunk for going over a speedbump slowly, I certainly hope there are many more in front because I will take even more time.

I respect the fact that you are low and need to take care when you pass on a speed bump, its all fine, I'll wait. But I don't really understand the trend of lowering your car to the point of taking 30 sec to go over a speedbump, now thats just undrivable.

In my opinion, someone who lower is car likes performance and handling. I find the whole ''low and slow'' trend a bit ridiculous. Might as well ride a bicycle, you'll go faster...

My car was slammed to the point where any speed bump would scrape no matter how sideways i took it. Some speed bumps i couldn't go over at all, had to three point reverse that shit and take another street.

That's actually how i got an inspection from a cop, because he heard the whole exhaust scrape the speed bump.

When i look back at that, i realize how dumb it was, yes the car looked sick on the highway, but made everything else shit.

Moral of the story, not worth being slammed. Especially when that inspection sets you back a few bills, because cops are getting hotter and hotter or that shit.

LOL first of all by both of you taking literally the 30 second example. Realistically it takes an extra 10-15. and 5 people waiting in line for a speed bump? Come on be realistic when is there ever a speed bump placed in a dense enough traffic area to get 5 people waiting for a speed bump?

Speed bumps are in parking lots, on residential streets where you should be driving slow in the first place. and your stop sign example is far fetched and your example + reasoning for having to do it is unrealistic; therefore is invalid.

and let me ask you this then, would you have a problem if a ferrari 458 italia or say a lambo or any other sports car that is factory low slows down and goes over speed bumps slowly not to wreck their 100 000$+ car?

Nope, the government is. Enjoy your 25mm rule.

Stop signs are made for stopping. I'm waiting at 30 seconds each one because IT'S MY RIGHT! What do you mean I'm screwing up the flow of traffic? Everyone else who doesn't like waiting at stop signs can take the highway or go on the racetrack. Yay logic!

I totally feel you. For me it's the third year I take my car over speedbumps and scrape the shit out of it. My stance looks insane when the car is parked or when you look at it moving on the highway but the car is so low that I am exhausted each time I take my car and hear it scrape wherever I go. I'm thinking about doing this for the last year, and after that I'm moving over.

Meanwhile I'm waiting for my pizza and I'm sitting beside my car waiting

I was refering to you in my last post if you look a little higher up. Bring a better argument with a better example to the table or gtfo with your measly 9 posts
