"It was inevitability, really. Since Fisker Automotive recently laid off its workforce and closed down shop, we figured it wouldn’t be long before Karmas began hitting the auction block. And that’s exactly what’s happened.

Logging onto eBay, one will find 26 Fisker Karmas presently up for auction, some going for as little as $40,200, according to Business Insider. These slash and burn prices represent as much as a 60-percent markdown from the original $102,000 asking price."

As we reported last week, VL Productions is now taking Karmas, removing the hybrid bits and replacing them with a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 from the Cadillac CTS-V, which produces 556 horsepower and 551 pound-feet of torque.
Once converted, VL calls the V8-powered Karmas the “Destino.” The conversion isn’t cheap, though, as VL Productions estimates an $85,000 to $90,000 conversion cost.

Edit: the article is a bit misleading. yes there is a Karma on ebay for 40k but it has 19 000 miles, and still has 2 days of auction left. The buy it now ones are all 72k +
 
my dad payed 129000$ like 4 months ago lollllllll told him to trade it a month ago for a panamera they were giving him 100k for it
 
Exactly, a couple where on Ebay for 45K, however, none where sold at this price because the reserve wasn't met. So the title is retaaarded.
