Quebec Sikh community ready to fight turban ban

At a professional level I'm ok with the ban, but it's only Quebec out of the whole country who doesn't allow it because of safety reasons. I'm still struggling to figure that one out...

If a kid wants to play soccer while maintaining his religious beliefs I say go for out. Let him mature to understand the politics of FIFA rules and if he does reach a professional level, maybe he will comprehend it better. But like I said, to ban kids from playing a sport saying its not safe with no evidence to back it up is a little fucked.

This is the best soccer story coming out of our country since we totally suck at the sport in the first place :(
 
i dont know why they wont let a Paki wear his Turban during a game........if it was actually an advantage when going for a header...then yeah..ban it........but it must be hard as fuck for a Paki to score on a header if he wears a Turban......let alone that Pakis are naturally notoriously unathletic in the first place...

anyways...i dont really support the ban.
 
In toronto a guy refused to wear a helmet while riding his motorbike because he was wearing a turban, he got a ticket and challenged it on court saying it's his religious right to wear a turban and because of the turban it's impossible to wear a helmet. The judge told him that it is his religious right to wear a turban, but it's not his religious right to ride a motorbike so he have to pay the ticket and wear a helmet if he wants to ride.
 
This is kids we're talking about, not professionals.

Using this logic, we should ban all these long haired fucks from using bro-straps.

At one side, i would tell the sikh parents to update themselves on the year and time we live in.

On the other side, lol @ the dudes here with the "not happy go back to your country" mentality, especially when it's really NOT your country to begin with lol.

If we follow your line of thinking nobody ever was a true pure resident of its country.


Not happy, go back to your country has a specific meaning, it doesnt mean its racist, it doesnt mean it only happens here because no, it doesnt. Its anywhere.

It means theres a LARGE majority that lives here and they refuse to change every single thing for everyone because these immigrants are fucking bitchy, hypocrites and selfish.
