I was there. Stayed for about half the auction. Most of the things I wanted were near the end of the list and I wasn't going to wait around that long for it since the trend was that people were bidding so much, most of the items went for almost the full price brand new or even higher. A set of 17" Rota wheels went for something like 750$, and another set of imitation Cobra R's went for roughly the same thing. some lady even bought a brand new set of wheels...for $450, but they were display wheels and one had been dropped and bent. There weren't that many good deals/steals.

there was lots of people who showed up that barely even bid (sucks that there was too much publicity - read: posted here on MR)

Then you had some guy who would buy random stuff, like 8 miss-matched wheels for 22$ a pop.

My brother picked up 3 tachs worth about $100 each, for $35 each.

I really wanted the Racedeck flooring, but I wasn't going to wait until 7pm for it. Especially considering the trend for offers...I would've ended up paying the same thing as buying brand new for a VERY used floor.

I left early. didn't buy anything. gave up. Some woman bidded on almost every audio item. crazy.

There were a lot of parts aimed for a certain clientele. Definitely not ours.
 
I wanted the clarion nx700, but not going to stand around 10 hours just to have somebody bid against to push the price up. Joey's brother didn't text me so I guess he left before it came up
 
No, it came up, but every double din item went up in price really fast. Most went for over $400. We didn't bother calling/texting you about it since it went over the budget you told us you wanted to respect.
 
You can thank those awful shows on TV for idiots driving up bids at auctions.

QFTMFT! I think it was posted here on MR a few days/weeks ago that 2 couples were bidding for containers they've never seen and 1 walked off with a Tesla roadster for 27K and the other paid 42K for Chinese wrist rubber bracelets. Completely retarded.
