for the rust, i bought a sandblaster and own a air compressor, so i started to blast away what i saw of rust. as it turns out, it made a pig hole through the quarter panel. to remove all the rust i had to cut out chunks of metal.

i was left with a big hole. idealy, you would want to weld a piece of metal in the spot that you cut. unfortunately, i dont own one, so i took some mesh (one side is sticky) and put it on the inside of the panel.

one think coat of bondo-hair (looks more like fiberglass than regular bondo paste) and then filled up the rest with regular bondo. sand down very well then a thin coat of bondo glaze. and your done.

as for the wheel rolling off my drive way... i was putting my headlights back in and didnt want to take out the jack so i put it up on the end of my driveway which gave me a couple extra inches to take the bumper off

you should try a little wet sanding and buff on you headlamps...they will look better and you'll see better at night !

nice diy project

How is that rubbing?!?!

When you got sparks all kinds flying everywhere when you're on the highway, then I'll say it rubs! :p
