Giving sex a run for its money

While my commitment for Montrealracing.com will see me for one more race in September, the past 5 straight weeks has put a toll on me physically, emotionally, and financially as I covered one event after another. “This alone is worth it!” as I strain my voice towards Philippe (photographer for Auto123.com) over a cacophony of Ferrari F430s streaming past us during their practice session. That soothing Italian music composed mainly of screaming 4.3 litre V8s accompanied by the occasional tire squeal was my pep talk. I gave it one more push. After all, after this it suppose to be smooth sailing until September, right? The itinerary that day was filled. If it wasn’t the F430s giving me inspiration, the ear-piercing sound of the FXXs and the F1 Cliente certainly did. Their constant wailing was heard all over the track reminding me what an orgasmic woman sounds like – without the nagging. Nothing but pure bliss for 40 minutes. This is the thrill of the Ferrari Festival.

Photographer’s Blog

Well, I’m taking a bit of a break due to financial reasons, of course. I can’t do this every weekend, even though I’d love to do it. I was thinking of doing some stuff in Shannonville and Mosport, but I decided not to push it this year. It’s best just to get my feet soaked instead of jumping straight into the pool. The F1 Cliente sessions definitely showed me how inferior my equipment was. I have a huge decision to make at the end of the year about this as again, funds are limited. What I have coming next is just a practice session that I’ve been longing to do. It’s a preparation for what I have planned for you guys in 2007.

:)

i remember 63 with the shark bite front end from the ferrari challenge, and a few other cars. modenas are way raspier sounding that the 430's.
