News: Mitsubishi Lancer EVO SE Gets MR's Dual-Clutch Tranny at More GSR-like Price

Lately it seems like the only news coming out of Mitsubishi is related to tiny electric cars, so we’re extra excited to report the addition of a new model in the Japanese automaker’s lineup that will have car guys rejoicing. The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution SE will debut later this year as somewhat of a cross-breed between the TC-SST transmission-equipped MR model and the more entry-level GSR. In essence it will be a GSR model, but with the dual-clutch transmission as well as the MR’s Bilstein shocks and rear diffuser. Also included will be the GSR’s cloth Recaro seats.

And now for the best part: the price. Official numbers haven’t been release yet, but the SE model is tipped to start at just under $36,000, which is about $2,000 more than the five-speed manual GSR and about $3,000 less than the current MR model.

tan qua moi une sst twin clutch c de la marde, les clutch glisse quand tu boost le chars.

la seul raison d'avoir ceci au Canada est : On sait tous que Mitsubishi Canada a de la misère à honorer les garanties sur leur transmissions a clutch à problème donc : c'est beaucoup mieux pour eux de vendre des TC-SST avec un peu moins de problèmes !!! C la seul et unique raison. le Canada coût très chère en fais de transmission a Mitsubishi, je ne comprend pas pourquoi !

n'importe quoi ...

Sors une GSR stock flambette, fait un launch et ta putain de clutch stock va glissé ...

En 3 ans ils ont mis aucun effort a améliorer leur probleme de transmission manuel qui fait juste chier ... et en plus qu'ils honore aucune garantit...

J'ai toujours conduis manuel et tripper manuel, mais la TC-SST c'est dla bombe, pis pour les haters qui n'ont jamais conduis cette transmission dans une Evo MR , STFU ...

C'est une transmission manuel controler automatiquement, pas comme un osti d'automatique qui avance tout seul quand tu mets sa en drive ... tk essayer la au lieu de chialer, jy allais a reculons, mais je suis en amour avec cette transmission et ce char.
 
Exact ! Ils ont fait des test, il n'y à pas personne qui peux launcher une GSR plus vite qu'une MR ..

Moi ma GSR, je suis rendu pas loin de 400 hp, et elle glisse toujours en première ... pas fort, et si tu change ta cluch pour une autre que oem, plus de garantie du tout !

Je sais pas pour toi mais, rendu a 400 HP, ta garanti doit avoir pris le bord ça fait un bout non??? LOL.
