Following Quebec’s lead, the government of Alberta is considering banning right hand drive vehicles. They’ve put out a public survey on the issue (screenshot below).
It’s unclear if the ban would be similar to Quebec’s law which only prevents additional RHD vehicles from being registered or whether they would seek to remove all RHD vehicles from the provinces roads. Alternatively, they could also allow vehicles older than 25 years to be registered as antiques.
