but i dont get it.

so like, 48÷2(9+3) = ??, but you replace the 2 by x, rite?

so u get like 48÷x(9+3) = ??

but then it goes like 48÷(9x+3x) = ??

and then because the ÷ is juxtaposed by the ( ), you get:

48÷9x÷3x= ??

and then imaginary brackets go where you want rite?

so (48÷9(x)()(÷)(3x))= {[(?)(?)]}

but since we have ÷ in brackets its like multiplying a division by an empty bracket so it cancels out.

so then were left with

(48÷9(x)(3x))= {[(?)(?)]}

so bedmas, podmas & pedomas applies

and left to right we get

16x² = {[(?)(?)]}

but we have TWO (?)

so each one is equal to 4x

but earlier we said x=2

and we also bring back the (÷) that we cancelled out earlier.

so we end up with (?)=4(÷)2

therefore

(?)=2

we can assume by observation that {[(?)(?)]} = 2
