Last week, one of the cars I did was a white Acura TL. The owner didn't stay and got a lift from one of his friends: Kris. Kris asked me if I had time to do his car and it turned out I had a spot this weekend on Saturday, so we booked in a time. Working early on the weekend, Kris dropped off the car early in the morning...like 6:30am early. lol. No worries though, I just went back to take a short nap. At 10 sharp I started.

Here's how the car arrived:
Take notice of the faded headlight.
The engine bay before
And all cleaned and dressed
On to the wheels
All cleaned and dressed
Time for the interior
My helper for the day was the wife.
The money shot: foam!
Once cleaned, I clayed it. Not that bad considering how dirty the car was.
Now, the "truth"
Once I brought the car in, I got ready for to take a 50/50 of the paint cleaner in action
As you can see, there is still a huge amount of swirls, but the paint is much clearer, has found some gloss and is now actually black again.
Some before and afters of certain spots
Then it was time for the headlight to get a good correction.
50/50 with wet sanding and compounding done (no polishing yet)
All done!
Applied wax curing.
Final shots. It was getting late, so I had to run a camera setting that makes this look like it was corrected more than it is, but the shots came out great.
Video of detailing and pics:
As always, thanks for viewing and Happy Detailing!
