Salut,

From my knowledge in most to least expensive in parts overall:
Audi
BMW
Mercedes

Might depend on which years too though. In the early 2000's the C230K bites ass, the bimmer is nice and I prefer the Audi.

I have read the same thing, mercedes is cheaper and audi the most expensive.

then again, if you buy an older ML you're in for your wallet.. it always depends on the car and maintenance.

I have all 3 brands in my driveway. I would say it is the same thing. The price margin isn't that big between all three. Maybe a slight skew of $20-$30 amongst parts, depending what it is. As far as time spent in a garage, depends how you drive and how frequently you drive. However, things that will just brake down on you is rare.

All of these cars require oil changes only every 20 000+ KMs.

On a turbocharged Audi I wouldn't take a chance of going over 8 000KM or 6 months and only high quality VW502/505 synthetic, otherwise you'll have sludge issues...

From my experience parts for Audi's are much cheaper than Mercedes and BMW.

I've had all 3...to most expensive seems to be mercedes since there is less jobber parts and less shops that specialise in these cars witch is a key factor in the maintenance of any euro vehicle.

For me BMW was always the less expensive because I knew where to go and because on all the BMs I've had I only had to chance suspension parts.

Audi is supposed to be about the same as BMW but I once had to change a turbo(bought the car like that in 06) and later an alternator witch was 4 hours of labor.

Je croyais que BMW offrait les entretients gratuits? Comme changement d'huile et frein? C'est terminé cette promotion?
