Highest HP daily driver

I'd really like to see what bullshit I'm talking about, as I did not mention anything about. Why didn't you mention anything about Carl's part where he mentions "With this much power WOT for more than 3 seconds in any of the lower gears is just insane." Back on topic.

Here's your bullshit,

"According to Carl's comment, seems like he's a moron too" Never said that you implied that I said with the proper setup said as described it above can easily be done with a different platform other than AWD.

"Where's the part you mentioned anything about FWD vs RWD or AWD?" well you can't read as said before Carl said if he didn't have AWD his 388whp would be useless which isn't the case on a proper setup RWD, FWD, MR setup."

"With this much power WOT for more than 3 seconds in any of the lower gears is just insane." What do you want me to address? My friend has a 408whp gt3076r built sti swap in a Forester w/ sti 6 speed (not that you would know the dif between the 5spd and 6spd) it's far from insane even with DCCD at 30/70 20/80 10/90 so I don't really know what exactly you want me to address?? Personally I find low 11s fucking slow people (referring to myself before you think i'm calling people names LOL) have been doing that for yearsssssss nothing new. People are going 9s on 2.4L N/A motors but 388whp is insanely fast?

My idea of a fast daily driven Sti is this my buddies old car.

God you're condescending. You're now mixing what I said with what other did. Way to go racer. I think I'll erase everything from this so-called conversation, but I'll make sure to leave all the part where I'm an idiot, just for the sake of it

lol I didn't call you an idiot. Let me ask you something who's the genius that said this? PS how can I mix what you said when I'm quoting you word for word? haha

You CLEARLY have no idea what he runs and what he does with the car. All of what you said simply does not apply.

Everything I said applies to getting traction on the street in any platform where you make good power and traction becomes an issue, you said it doesn't apply BSSSS CLEARLY you have no idea wtf your talking about.

Quand même bizarre que toutes ces bêtes ne soit jamais dans les SSPA .J'aimerais bien m'essayer contre une couple l'été prochain

First, DCCD is adjustable from 35-65 to 50-50 lock on 2004-2005 model, on the 2006+ its 41:59 to 50:50. You clearly don't know shit about torque split ratio on a STi's center diff.

2nd, its your friends car. not yours. its your buddies..

I meant to write awd cars after the 10/90 20/80 30/70 as in other AWD platforms settings +Sti settings which you are obviously correct on. 388whp at any split isn't a insane amount of power for the street and can be control properly. Or your going to tell me 35-65 to 50-50 is mind blowing different in power delivery it's not that big of a difference. I never claimed them to be my own nor do I care too, they are friends cars so what? Why is that even relevant? You want to be their friend too? lol:p

man u guys talk as if 388whp isnt much for daily, I find its too much lol. Im around 400 whp@20psi and to be honest, I think I had a better time at 12psi just because it was much more usable. I mean, I like spirited driving and not just straight line speed. However, cant even use the whole 400whp just because ill be hitting 200 in a boulevard in a matter of seconds. Way more power than needed. Not even sure if going big turbo will be worth it.

Actually, on 2006+, the split is from 41:59 to 50:50 locked.

And to clear things out, I'm not saying 400-ish WHP is too much. If you think about high-end cars that are not considered "exotics" (Turbo 911, Nissan GT-R, 2005+ BMW M5), all these cars have at least 400+ hp to the wheels and can easily be driven all summer long, if not all year long (many of the cars listed above actually are).

but its definitely more than enough. I barely have the opportunity to use the power I have and thats why we see most exotics or fast cars never really drive fast either. Sure its driveable (it is my daily btw) and all but you rarely can use all that power so besides going to the 1/4 mile, whats the point of having more u know.

What? I got 412 hp and i use it everyday. Maybe not with lower gears but once you reach about 50 you can unleash the fury lol and I always wish i had more power.

Exactly, nowadays with all the laws on speed limits it`s worthless to have lots of power for the street. Go ahead and spend 20k on engine mods to shine on the dragstrip an hour per week... The only good reason I can think of is people involved in HPDE events with their daily driver like Carl for example.

Of course it isn't worth it. All these people packing in big numbers are probably ordering Viagra on the weekdays. It may be fun to boost around town a little bit, but to spend stupid amounts of money and making the car that much less reliable is quite a waste of time in the end, Especially being a daily driver. 3-400 hp is fine, especially in a stock form.

Just to clarify my point earlier in this thread. When I said my setup was more than enough, I was thinking of the OP intention of DD. For me a daily driver can be used all winter, all summer and on roadtrips as well as getting the groceries.
Drag radials do not help harness anything more than 50hp when winter comes around.

Not trying to add fuel to any fire. In TA mode, I wish I had 200 more HP. However as a daily driver, my set up is hard imagine more- the AWD works hard to keep my going straight and not spinning off every corner.

Peace guys! and come play on the track where the only limit in HP is what your skill can handle.
