Insure my dirt bike?

I bought a 2 smoke ktm 250 and no one i called wants to insure it for theft/fire any suggestions ? i just want to insure it if someone breaks in and steal it !

i think if its in your house, it goes under house insurance, no?

yep that's pretty much the only way.

but good look to have it added to your home insurance policy.

Nobody want to insure dirt bike and off road véhicule (except maybe big 4x4) too much risk of totalling it in a crash and declare it stolen...insurance compagny are not stupid you know.

I cant even add it to the home insurance even if i said the bike is stored in my basement they say anything that has a motor doesnt go below my home insurance policy... i had my Quad 450r insured for theft/fire and now no one wants to insure it the bike it pisses me off, i had to put a beaver trap in my shed, now if some1 breaks in ill get in shit for breaking a theifs leg with a booby trap

btw i never wanted to insure for collision i only want theft/fire/civilian responsability
