Official Tax Return Thread - How Much Are You Getting Back?

I don't understand quicktax. After filing my T4's and R1 for one Job it was saying 1300$ File the second T4 and R1 and i'm down to 500$ .... Fine I might be in a higher tax bracket but 800$ REALLY?

Im in the same boat as you. I complete forgot about the first 4 months I was on contract at my job. So I did my taxes without the T4 and R1 from that employer and I was suppose to get back approx 1450$.. it came in the next day so I had to redo everything and then it went to 400$ :|

Got to paid 100$ to fed and 100$ to quebec. Don't even know why.

Last years, make 13K receive 1600$ ( change job of 8$/h to 12$/h)

This years, make 31K, have to paid 200$overall. (change job of 12$/h to 18$/h)

Change job both in september.

WTF.

I was hoping 2K at least. cannot get my drop and wheel this summer

Nope they tax me just fine at both jobs.
