Here is the point:
In small electronics and tools, everything is made overseas. Some parts or assembly are still being done here, but it's getting much rarer in household / mass manufactured items.
On thing is common, many small tools and electronics that were made here, still work fine now (compared to the new stuff...). Post them if they still work and you still use them.
There used to be quite a lot of them made in Canada / US. Some of them still are, so post the new stuff too!

My Black & Decker 120 volt cast iron drill
Manufactured in Brockville, Ontario - probably 1980, maybe earlier..
Story: my dad gave it to me when I first left the house. I remember him using it all the time when I was a kid. Still works fine and does most of the work around the house.
