This channel requires that you have registered and identified yourself with the network's nickname registration services (e.g. NickServ). Please see the documentation of this network's nickname registration services that should be found in the MOTD (/motd to display it).

Where can I get my Nick registered? You'd think we're hacking into NASA, LOL!

So what do you do:

1. Type in the status window:


Don't use fancy characters, just plain alphanumerical characters (a-z,A-Z,0-9). Further, make sure your email-address is existing, you should get a message there pretty soon (check your spam folder in case you didn't get one almost instantly). I recommend NOT using a Yahoo! e-mail address, they are not delivering mails correctly at present.

2. you get an email in which you are told what to do next to complete the registration:



3. In mirc go to Tools > Options > Connect > Options > Perform:

After successful auth you will get a message/notice:



and optionally you can do after auth on mirc, only needed once:




PS.

1. If you don't add the auth command in the perform section of mIRC and thus chose to do it manually, I suggest not doing this in an active channel, but use the status windows, or else type "/query H" without the "s and type the commands in there.
2. When you have problems, provide as much relevant info like the accountname you're trying to register.

^^you receive an email in your inbox, there is a command there to authenticate yourself, you have to do it then rejoin the 3x channel

you also have to auth everytime you connect unless you've pre set it.
