I went on the GM site an "built" the cheapest possible Cruze model with only TPMS as an option. I then went onto Toyota's site and built a Corolla with similar options
Yes, I left out some standard equipment because I dont think a speedometer is an option or a windshield...

I'm with the OP on this one. I couldn't see myself pissing money away on a vehicle of inferior quality unless I had employee pricing or something. And yes they are of inferior fit and finish and the wear and tear factor is eadilly noticable on all US models. Don't tell me they are better int he last few years because they aren't. They are all the same.
