Hey guys.. as most of you already know, I own www.ps3center.net and for the past week I`ve been working on a small project of mine!

I painted my black ps3 white ... full replica of Sony's :D

I used regular car paint. It was a simply base white. I was about to do a pearl white.. but I didnt wanna take a chance screwing up.. so I just stuck to plain white. It looks sick though
 
won't the paint on the controllers start coming off in like 2 days with kids greasy sweaty hands on them 24/7? very nice though.

hehe this is car paint and car clear. If a car can survive a winter with that type of clear .. it can easily survive a little grease and sweat ;)

Those things wont affect the paint at all. The only thing that can happen is if someone drops the controller and chips it.

Already have everything planned out ;) ... if this one goes well ... I`m making a 2nd PS3 .. this time Silver .. and i`ll start making some wii`s .. they look simple enough to disassemble.

It may look simple .. but trust me.. reassembling the controller is a pain in the a**. Then making sure you have everything sanded out properly so that the paint sticks. Also the "Playstation 3" logo is another problem .. I had to figure out something else for that as well. So it may look easy .. but honnestly .. it`s a job and a half

p.s: Dont forget the ps3 has touch sensitive buttons ;) ... another problem you have to solve hehe
