Hey OP let me know if your considering any of the above, I have most of these in stock. I'll gladly lend you one for the a couple of days so that you can make your decision.:D

Everone is entitled to their own opinion, but personally, having driven or owned most of these cars. believe it or not, id go with an S2000 for several reasons.

1.Japaneese reliability
2.wont cost you an arm& a leg if it breaks (which is rare)
3.a HUGE pleasure to drive (I LOVE DROP TOPS :D )
4.afordability
5 availability of AFFORDABLE aftermarket parts
6 minimal maintenance which is affordable
7 etc...

Jacques and I have similar taste in vehicles and enjoy the higher end toys :p I too, love Porsche's, in fact I've owned SEVERAL (944,928, MANY 911's) but there is always that gut wrenching felling in my stomach every time I drive a Porsche hard that says "hmmmm.......mahybe I shouldnt be doing this, IF something happens it'll cost me a fortune to fix it"

Lets face it, if a Porsche or an "M" goes into the shop, you better be prepared to drop a "G" note. all though I must admit all the M's I ever owned were bullet proof (DAWM bimmer makes some sweet motors!!!!), and I drove the living shit outta those suckers!!! hahaha!!

All that being said, once again, all in my PERSONAL opinion, you can drive the living piss outta an S2000, and not have to worry about a crazy bill if anything happens. Lets face it, there's sooooooo many scrapped S2000's out there parts are abundant.

Now, dont get me wrong, I still love my porsches, and I always have at least 2 in my garage:p, but I just find the S2k to be the best bang for the buck, thats all.

If your looking for a worry free summer toy (ive never driven my S2k in winter, you'd have to ask Jacques79 about that, i believe he's tried it) go honda S2k. Once again your more than welcome to borrow one of ours for a weekend if it helps make your decision easier.

Simply my opinion

Thanks everyone, some valuable opinions in here! I'm gonna try to get behind the steering wheel of a couple of them and see if I can make up my mind :)
