You know when you have an apointement,you have an apointement with the adviser not the mecanic.the mecanic is not gonna whait for you on his lift,they have other appointments before you so they have to complete them,When they gonna finish the appointments before you Then they gonna work on your carThe thing that bothers me the most about dealerships is the service department. It seems like they're all fucking crap around here.
Ford = they take forever to start working on your vehicle
Kia = ^^ same
Chevy = ^^ same ^^
Acura was not so bad when I had my TL... Hyundai is not bad either, but there was a guy working there, total prick.
My last experience was last friday at Chevy. I went to have a key fob programmed. My appointment was scheduled for 2PM... I showed up at 1:50, went to the counter, blah blah blah. I asked the advisor if they were going to take the car in soon and he said "we're getting ready".
At 2:15, nothing. 2:30, still nothing. I was getting angry. I was looking at the mecanics.. them unionized ?/!I!(% were working slower than my grandma... slowly fixing and taking cars in, but never mine.
At 2:40, I went to the counter and asked the advisor if they were planning to take my car in anytime soon and he said "well, their break is at 2:45 and they'll take in it soon after". ONE FUCKING HOUR LATE (or even more..)
I couldn't take it anymore. I told 'em I wasn't waiting any longer and asked for my keys. I told that guy each and every time I went there I had to wait forever and he said "well, you know, we can't plan everything by a minute". I told him I sometimes have work done at garages that charge half their hourly rate and they manage to stay within 15mins of there appointment times. All he could reply was "Well, good for you." What a dumbass...
The service director even had the guts to tell me "Hey, you have to understand a lot of my mecanics are off this week." AND I WOULD HAVE TO CARE ? That's none of my business. YOU should do whatever it takes to follow your schedule. I was speechless...
They did not even apologize or anything...
I ain't ever going back. I called another Chevy dealership.
This was Trois-Rivieres Chevrolet/Caddy, btw.
