It's about time I add something.

The details:

Bought this off this forum in 2009, traded it for a 1998 VW Golf with some cash. Honestly wasn't even sure why. By the end of the summer I ended up selling my Corrado. Then I blew the engine, then the clutch...now 7 years later I actually started working on it.

1985 Ford Mustang aka Canadian Cobra
- Has an 1989 5.0 h.o
- performance products intake.
- edelbrock carb
- T5 WC
- Ford Motorsport Headers
- Magnaflow cat back
- off-road h-pipe

Interior mods
- no carpets, no headliner
- VW GTx Recaroes
- Hurst shifter

Exterior Mods
- Cowl Hood
- Steeda Wing
- xenon bumper airdam

mods coming

- GT40 heads
- 3g alternator upgrade
- Taurus Electric fans

Now the honest side. This is a Quebec car so it obviously has some issues first and foremost, the paint. It was painted some time in the 90s, and the years have not been kind to it. Previous owner worked downtown and it was keyed ,kicked and the best part was that when the body work around the roof started cracking, it was duct taped. Not to mention the wiring ...electric taped wiring for the alternator.

Now for some pics.

Nice 4 eyes, must be my OCD but the Cobra emblem on the fender is on backward and it bothers me !!

I wish it didn't have the emblems. I just have a feeling that when they come off so does the paint.

Bonus Recaroes no comments on the dildo looking handbrake. It came with the car.

Take off those damn cobra emblems, and you have a pretty damn cool project.

I've always loved the 4 eye fox's, and I've always wanted a later model Fox body myself.. One day.

Paint is the last priority , I like it rough. The object is to make it as mechanically reliable as possible, the esthetic portion can wait. It's dented, scratched, has poor bodywork in some spots.

The object is to bring it to as close to 300 whp and handle at the same time. All go don't need the show.

After 12 years I finally bit the bullet.

You can see in the pictures that the structure had started to rot. He is sandblasting and sealing the rust. New roof skin, repairs to the door hinge mounts but the rest is extremely solid.

I'm still kind of blown away. Seeing it bare and being prepared to start again

Toujours fun de voir un Foxbody revivre!

This hasn't been easy. I've been squirreling away parts for the last while. New fenders, doors, roof skin and debating whether I put the saleen wing back or switch to the three piece wing like on pace car.
